Parenting Resources


Being a parent is one of the most reward jobs out there, but it can be challenging at times. Bethany United Methodist Church wants to be a resource for your family.


From Wednesday night parenting classes to our pastoral counseling center, we offer a range of opportunities for you to build your parenting skills, to find support and encouragement, and to grow in your own relationship with God.


We provide a nursery and children's activities so that you can enjoy the worship service, Bible Studies, Sunday School, and small groups knowing that your children are in good hands.


Parenting Class

This class is held from 6:30-7:30 in the library on Wednesday nights.

Books we have covered include Parental Guidance Required, and Top Ten Ways to Mess Up Your Child.

Dinner ($5.00 adults/$2.50 children) is served 5:30 to 6:30 every week.
 
As parents, we need to do everything we can to enhance our children’s relationship with us, to influence their relationships with those outside the home, and most importantly, to advance their relationship with God.

We offer free parenting classes on Wednesday nights.

The nursery, Veggietales for preschool & kindergarten, Adventure Club for 1st through 5th graders, and the youth group are available for your children while you are in class.
