Braes Interfaith Ministries – BIM

A Judeo-Christian ministry composed of twelve congregations representing Protestant, Jewish and Catholic faiths. BIM was chartered as a non-profit corporation in 1986 by the State of Texas. BIM is open Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 10:00am until 2:00pm to help clients with routine serves which include: food, clothing, sundries, job counseling and limited financial assistance. They also provide baby food, formula, infant and adult diapers. BIM is located at: 4300 West Bellfort on the grounds of the Willow Meadows Baptist Church. BIM is supported based on the member congregation’s number of members; and with the member congregation's have one additional major food drive on an annual basis.

School Partnerships

Bethany provides outreach and support to children and teachers in our local schools.  We have special partnerships with Longfellow Elementary (just across the street from us) and with Brookline Elementary.


UMCOR

When disaster strikes, the local church is there to provide help to all who are affected. UMCOR is a church domestic disaster effort that you can be a part of to help those in need. UMCOR is responsible for sending trained Early Response Teams to locations where they assist in making homes safe, sanitary and secure. All the training that you will need will be provided.
