| Over 1 million Burmese refugees, having been driven from their country of neighboring Burma (Myanmar), are living in Thailand. The Burmese people have lived through war and genocide. Join us as we collaborate with our partner school for Burmese children, The United Christian School, in Western Thailand. We will work with the children, make repairs to the school and provided needed resources. We will also work with refugee families to bring hope, encouragement and the message of Christ’s love to people whose lives have been torn apart. |

| Just 6 hours west of Houston, in Acuña, Mexico, children are living in cardboard homes, exposed to the elements and disease. This summer, you can make a difference by building a new, safe home (casita) for a family living in need. We will also distribute food, clothing, medical supplies and minister through prayer and evangelistic outreach. |

Cuba

| Ninety miles off the coast of Florida, Cuba is a country that has been cut off from outside influence for over fifty years. Although the limitations are great, the opportunities for evangelism through creative means are strong. Cubans live on rations that are given out daily, and the average salary is $9 a month. Join a small group and provide encouragement and much-needed supplies for our sister church outside Havana. We will be teaching, sharing testimonies, and leading a VBS program there. Your heart will be broken and encouraged as you work alongside the Cuban Christians and see their faith in the midst of hardship. |

Steps For Preparation
1. APPLY NOW! Complete an application and return with deposit to the Church Office.
2. Obtain a valid passport (applications available at Post Office).
3. Attend training sessions and informational meetings (dates and times TBA)
Training Sessions
To help you prepare for your mission experience, two training sessions will be required.
These sessions will include information about fundraising, introduction to specific city,
customs and culture, cross cultural and personal witnessing, evangelism tools and opportunities,
prayer walks, and packing and logistics.
