Legacies of Love
Curtis (Dike) Rose was a loyal and dedicated member of Bethany for many years. In his profession as a football coach, he was an outstanding mentor and counselor to his students. Their reverence and love for him was so great that many were in continual contact with him and maintained a relationship with him until his death on July 31, 2009.
Dike and his beloved late wife, Hazel, created the Hazel Rose Trust Fund to handle their estate. Bethany is the beneficiary of part of that Trust Fund.
Bethany greatly appreciates this gift as a symbol of their love for their church. To honor the memory of Dike and Hazel, Bethany is donating a portion of their gift to Braes Interfaith Ministries.

Take part in Bethany's annual mission trip to Acuna, Mexico
December 19th through the 21st.
The registration deadline is approaching. Passports are a must so you need to allow yourself plenty of time to secure one if you do not already have one.

Eagle Scout Project...
Travis Payne has begun his Scout Project which involves cleaning and replanting the garden/courtyard area behind Room 42/43. If you are available to help, be at Bethany at 9 am on Saturday, October 24th. Travis is also in need of donations to make needed purchases of plants, soil, etc.

On All Saints’ Sunday, Bethany will honor all of our family members and friends who have passed away in the last year. Please contact the Church office regarding those whom you wish to have remembered. If you would like to have a photo displayed on the screens before and after the Service, please forward a digital photo to office@bethanyumc.org by October 26th.

Looking for a way to honor a loved one?
Flowers add beauty to our Worship Services and can be purchased in honor or memory of a family member or friend.
Altar flowers cost $60 and a single arrangement for the Friendship Aisle costs $35.
