Christmas Mission Trip - Acuna, Mexico
December 16-18, 2006
Just across the border of Del Rio, Texas is the city of Acuna, Mexico. In a city of 180,000, more than half of the families live in extreme poverty, have no running water or electricity and suffer from malnutrition and lack of medical care.
The Bethany family traveled over Christmas break and help make a difference in the lives of many in need. They worshiped with the people they served, did light construction work on houses, distributed food, clothing, medical supplies, and gave Christmas gifts to the children. It was a weekend that changed our lives forever.
